Desert Water Source Project
Two water source projects are scheduled to be completed on Thursday, Friday, & Saturday, April 28 - 30, 2011. The locations are in the vicinity of the prison on I-10 near Blythe. Two wheel drive is OK.
DWU always needs workers to help. If you are interested in assisting on these projects please call Leon Lesicka at (760) 344-2793.

Camping at the site is OK. If you plan to stay over on Thursday and Friday nights, you will need to camp out and bring food and snacks for Thursday evening. Dinner Friday evening and lunch on Saturday will be provided.
Remember, if you participate in a work party you will need plenty of water and ice (at least five gallons per person per day), a wide brimmed hat, sun screen, and a pair of work gloves. If you plan on spending the night you will also need your camping gear.
